After spending years working for local authorities and engineering consultancies including Amey, Stockport Council, Cheshire East and Cheshire West — and more recently as a Retrofit Assessor and Installation Manager delivering ECO4 programmes — Daniel founded DLE Eco Surveys Ltd to bring genuine engineering rigour to the building and energy survey sector.

Daniel is a fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) registered with ECMK and TrustMark (Licence TMLN 4167159), a PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessor accredited with Quidos, ECMK and Elmhurst, and holds the Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency Measures for Older and Traditional Buildings. He has delivered over 200 ECO4 retrofit surveys professionally, with hands-on experience managing internal wall insulation, loft insulation and first-time central heating projects from initial assessment through to post-installation sign-off.
